Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the terms under which refunds may be issued for purchases made through the RSVPconcepts platform. Different products carry different refund terms based on their nature, usage, and associated costs. Please review the section relevant to your purchase.

1. Overview

RSVPconcepts offers several payment products, each with its own refund terms. This policy covers SaaS subscriptions (Pro and Business), per-event premium upgrades, Destination Events add-ons, guest booking payments, and platform service fees. Refund eligibility depends on the product type, the time since purchase, and whether the paid features have been materially used.

2. SaaS Subscription Refunds

Pro and Business subscriptions are eligible for a refund within 7 days of the initial purchase date, subject to the following conditions:

  • The refund window is 7 calendar days from the date of the first successful charge
  • Refunds are not available if premium features have been materially used during the refund window — this includes configuring a custom domain or subdomain, consuming SMS credits, applying white-label branding to an event, or utilizing API access
  • After the 7-day window, subscriptions are non-refundable but may be canceled at any time to prevent future charges
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date
  • Annual subscriptions within the 7-day window may receive a prorated refund calculated on unused full months remaining, minus the value of any features materially consumed
  • No refunds are issued for partial billing periods after the 7-day window

3. Per-Event Premium Upgrade ($5)

Per-event Premium upgrades are one-time purchases that unlock premium features (ad removal, unlimited guests, exports) for a single event. Refund terms:

  • The refund window is 48 hours from the time of purchase
  • Refunds are not available if any of the following conditions apply: guest payments (ticket sales) have been processed through the event, the event date has passed, QR check-in has been used at the event, RSVPconcepts branding has been removed from the public RSVP page, or the guest list has been exported (CSV or Excel)
  • After the 48-hour window or if any of the above conditions are met, per-event upgrades are non-refundable

4. Destination Events Add-On ($25)

The Destination Events Add-On activates booking tools, payment processing infrastructure, and travel management features for a single event (90-day access). Refund terms:

  • The refund window is 72 hours from the time of activation
  • Refunds are not available once any guest booking payment has been received for that event — regardless of the payment amount or status
  • The Destination add-on is either fully refundable (within 72 hours, no guest payments) or non-refundable — partial refunds are not available for this product
  • Once the add-on becomes non-refundable, it remains active for the full 90-day term

5. Guest Booking Refunds

Guest payment refunds — including ticket purchases, destination travel package payments, deposit payments, and installment payments — are governed by the event host's stated cancellation policy for that event.

  • RSVPconcepts acts solely as a technology and payment processing facilitator and does not determine refund eligibility for guest bookings
  • Guests should contact the event host directly regarding refund requests for any booking or ticket payment
  • If the event host approves a refund, RSVPconcepts will process it through the original payment method
  • All refunds are issued in the original payment currency — RSVPconcepts is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between the time of payment and the time of refund
  • Refund processing times depend on the guest's payment provider and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on the guest's statement

6. Platform Service Fees

RSVPconcepts charges a platform service fee on ticket sales and destination guest payment transactions. These fees are non-refundable once the underlying transaction has been processed, regardless of whether the guest payment itself is later refunded.

  • Platform fees cover payment infrastructure, fraud prevention, dispute management, and ongoing platform maintenance
  • Third-party payment processing fees (charged by Stripe or PayPal) are also non-refundable and are not within RSVPconcepts' control
  • In the event of a full guest booking refund, the host receives the refunded amount minus the original platform fee and any applicable payment processing fees

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Email support@rsvpconcepts.com with your account email address, the payment type (subscription, per-event, destination add-on, or guest booking), and the reason for your request
  • Include the event name or URL if the refund relates to a specific event
  • Eligible refunds that fall within the policy window and meet all conditions are processed automatically within 5–10 business days
  • Requests that fall outside the standard policy window are reviewed on a case-by-case basis — we may grant exceptions at our sole discretion for extenuating circumstances
  • You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed
